Telerehab for GLA:D® Participants

We will add research trial opportunities to our webpage here https://gladaustralia.com.au/research-involvement-opportunities/ as we become aware of them

All the equipment used in the GLA:D® Program is intentionally easily accessed, but please discuss your needs with your clinician before purchasing anything specifically for GLA:D®.

In addition to home items such as chairs, steps and mirrors, you will use:

  • An exercise ball – from department stores like Kmart, Target and Big W
  • Exercise bands – also widely available, but the best resistance level for you will change over time
    • The Clover®Strap is a system for easily attaching exercise bands to legs/feet
  • Furniture Sliders – these will vary depending on the floor surface, but options can be sourced from hardware stores like Bunnings and Mitre 10

Please note that these are no longer being sent directly to participants. Current news is instead housed on our home page here: https://gladaustralia.com.au/
